Toyota passes out $83,000+ in grants to local projects | Community Spirit

Toyota Indiana’s second quarter philanthropy program will award more than $83,000 to area nonprofits this month.  A majority of these grants will go to youth and education programs, the top priority for the company.

Recipients of the grants included Vanderburgh County 4H Council’s School Enrichment Program, Lynnville Elementary School’s Literacy Stations Technology Program and Youth Resources of Southwestern Indiana’s Teen Advisory Council.

Toyota’s grants are given to nonprofit organizations in the counties where the majority of its 4,100 team members reside.  Counties represented this quarter were Wabash County in Illinois; Daviess County in Kentucky and Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties in Indiana.
