St. Peter and Paul students take top prize in First Lego League tournament | Events
The 2012 University of Southern Indiana First Lego League (FLL) Qualifying Tournament was held at USI on November 10. Ninety-two middle and junior high students from area schools participated and each team was judged on their community project, robot design, and FLL Core Values. Teams also competed head-to-head in a robot game.
The grand champion was S.W.A.T. (Science with Attitude) from St. Peter and Paul School in Haubstadt.
Other winning teams are listed below. Three teams – S.W.A.T., Lego Crabs, and Jeep Rovers – advanced to state-level competition.
