The Princeton Daily Clarion has partnered with the Gibson County Health Department and Safe Kids Gibson County to host a Halloween event on October 30 beginning at 3:30 pm and ending at 7:00 pm. The event will begin with trick or treating to businesses around the Princeton Courthouse that have a pumpkin in their window; next is a parade and costume judging event; and lastly there will be games, clowns, kids Zumba, freeze dance, Walgreens photo booth, treat bags and prizes, face painting, and a Princeton Public Library reading circle.
On average, twice as many kids are killed while walking on Halloween than on other days of the year. But with some simple precautions, kids can stay safe. Safe Kids Worldwide and FedEx urge parents to prepare children to act safely and drivers to be particularly alert.
