Gibson sheriff: Near mishap leads to DUI pot arrest of woman, 62 | News
A 62-year-old Illinois woman was arrested by Gibson County authorities Saturday morning after they say she was driving under the influence of marijuana.
A deputy pulled Maria C. Mulford of Golden Gate over on US 41 just north of the Kings Mine exit after he says she nearly caused an accident by changing lanes unsafely.
The sheriff’s office says she was arrested after a small amount of marijuana and a pipe used to smoke it were found in the car and she was driving under the influence.
She remains in custody under a $2,600 bond.
