Yokel sentenced 10 years in prison
GIBSON COUNTY, IN (WFIE)-
A Southern Illinois man was just sentenced for his part in a fatal accident last June.
Twenty-five-year-old Anthony Yokel of Allendale was sentenced for driving under the influence of a controlled substance resulting in death and criminal recklessness.
Yokel pleaded guilty in January.
He'll serve ten years in prison, and with five years good behavior, he'll get out in five years, and then serve four years probation.
The accident happened in near Owensville in Gibson County last June. State police investigators say Yokel hit and killed twenty-year-old Lauren Hale of Prison.
