Deputies say man hit and killed after walking out onto US 41
GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE)- A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Gibson County.
Authorities tell us it happened on US 41 near Princeton just before 4 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Deputies tell us a Erin Liston, of Plainville, Indiana, was driving on northbound on US 41 when a man walked out in front of her vehicle.
Officials have not yet released the name of the man killed in that accident.
Deputies tell us the woman was not hurt.
No charges are expected to be filed. The accident is under investigation.
Northbound US 41 was down to one lane while crews worked the scene of that wreck, but traffic has since returned to normal.
