Busy weekends for local boys hoop teams | Sports & Recreation

Gibson County boys' high school basketball teams had a light schedule over the holidays but they're now preparing for a doubeleheader weekend.

Princeton knocked off Shawe Memorial last week 56-29 and will take a 5-4 record into their game at Boonville Friday night.  The Tigers will then travel to Harrison Saturday.

Gibson Southern is 2-6 after a 64-46 loss to Reitz during Christmas break.  The Titans will play at Heritage Hills Friay and host Castle Saturday.

Wood Memorial is 1-9.  The Trojans have been idle since a 62-42 defeat against Princeton December 22.  They'll host Pike Central and play at Shoals this week.
