More roads closing for I-69 work

The Indiana Department of Transportation is announcing that beginning Monday, September 12, County Road 450 South (C.R. 450 S) in Gibson County will close permanently while C.R. 550 S will close for about a month for the construction of a new overpass for I-69.

Mt. Carmel exit ramp from US 41 will close Wednesday morning

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is announcing that repairs to the exit ramp from U.S. 41 to Mt. Carmel have been delayed.  Due to equipment issues, the work has now been postponed until Wednesday, August 17, weather permitting.

INDOT will update Walmart center traffic signals

Traffic signals at the entrance to the Walmart shopping center in Princeton will be getting an upgrade soon.

According to INDOT, sometime after August 1, contractor crews will be "modernizing"  the traffic signals to the location along State Road 64

The project, which will include new signal heads, cables, poles, and sensor loops in the pavement, is to upgrade the signals at the intersection. 

It is anticipated all work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time and be complete by 6:00 p.m.

Two county roads set to close for I-69 work

The Indiana Department of Transportation is announcing that beginning Monday, August 1, two roads will close permanently for I-69 work.

C.R. 600 S will be closed from the junction of County Road 825 East to the junction of County Road 725 East.

Crews will begin work at approximately 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect small delays because of temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 in Gibson County next week.
